Ordering a Wedding Cake
If you'd like to order a wedding cake from The Cake Box, follow these simple ordering instructions.
1. Call 402-558-1540. You will get an answering machine - A LIVE PERSON WILL NOT ANSWER YOUR CALL. You will be leaving your contact information on the answering machine.
2. Leave your name, address and telephone number on the answering machine. We'll mail you a packet of information about our wedding cakes. Chris will call you back. When you receive your information, you're welcome to send in the reservation and deposit form.
Chris will contact you by telephone to confirm your wedding date and schedule your consultation. Please note: we offer one complimentary 6" sample cake. This cake represents our work. Should you choose to taste our other flavors, you're welcome to purchase additional sample cakes for $15.00 each. Chris will provide a time for you to stop by to pick up your complimentary sample cake.
Since your wedding details will evolve, you'll have an actual consultation with Chris one to three months prior to your wedding date. If you're working with a wedding coordinator, you're welcome to provide us with their name and phone number.
Ordering a Special Occasion Cake
If you'd like to order a special occasion cake from The Cake Box, follow these simple ordering instructions.
1. Call 402-558-1540. You will get an answering machine - A LIVE PERSON WILL NOT ANSWER YOUR CALL. Since Chris is very hand's on, he does not have time to take your order by phone. You will be leaving your order by phone, Chris will call you back to confirm your order.
2. Leave the following information on the answering machine:
A. What size cake you'd like
B. What flavor cake you'd like, with what filling
C. When you'd like your cake delivered - include date and time
D. What address you'd like your cake delivered
E. Speak clearly, spelling any complicated or hard to understand words.
Please do not call several times - Chris will get your order to you accurately, without unnecessary phone calls.
Important Notes
***We do not have a billing service. Your payment is due when your product is picked up or delivered.
***Wedding cakes are to be paid in full two weeks prior to your wedding date. It is your responsibility to make payment arrangements. We will not bill you for your wedding cake.
***We accept checks or cash.
